The time has come to start a blog. I’ve come to the conclusion that it can’t be avoided any longer! I’m used to expressing myself visually rather than writing, so I realise that to keep my blog interesting I will need to include images.

This one is from my sketchbook. As soon as the warm weather started back in May I decided to go out sketching at least three times a week. Luckily I’m spoilt for choice of location in the Richmond area. This is one of a series that I did in the grounds of Ham House on a bright sunny day recently. This part of the grounds is called ‘The Wilderness’ and has three of these little summer houses in hidden corners.
