In-house Exhibition

Due to the current pandemic all exhibitions that I had planned have been postponed or cancelled and so I decided to set up a mini gallery within my house to show some of my recent work.

As always my work derives from my long established connection with nature and my focus recently has been on the proximity of the natural and the built environment and also current concerns about climate change.

I aim to create tension and visual impact by contrasting painterly organic brush marks with structural geometric shapes and I use the potential of colour to evoke an emotional response.

Current Exhibition

I will be exhibiting two of my abstract works with Richmond Art Society from Saturday 30 November to Saturday 7 December.

Venue: Richmond Adult Community College, Parkshot, Richmond TW9 2RE

Exhibition July 2019

I’m really looking forward to showing my new work in a group show along with nine other very talented artists. Together we bring a wide range of individual backgrounds, educations and work and are all evolving in our own unique manner whilst inspiring and supporting one another.

Traditional media such as painting, drawing, sculpture and collage, combined with a poetic responsiveness to world issues, inform the heart of this show. We have chosen the distinctive derelict Victorian house, Safehouse 2 Gallery in Peckham, for the backdrop to our exhibition.

Venue: Safehouse 2
Address: 137 Copeland Road, SE15 3SN

Private View: Thursday 25 July 6 – 9pm

Open: Thursday 25 – Saturday 27 July 2019

Hours: 12 – 6pm
